Re: Bug: Body acceleration not applied correctly

Setting an acceleration value like this does not prevent the internal simulation from also writing to the acceleration data. So you are probably just fighting with the forces generated from the simulation. Depending on the rate at which you are sending, and the rate at which the aircraft is simulati...

Re: Issue Reading TACAN Parameters via Sim Connect

I noticed that you've specified a range of "360" on your Tacan. The default units is meters, so that could be a source of your issue. You probably want "360N" for nautical miles. The default if not specified at all is about 195nm.

Re: Issue Reading TACAN Parameters via Sim Connect

Can you confirm 1) Is the functionality actually there, or is the problem just with the SimConnect... in other words can you configure a basic radio without your SC code? 2) Can you confirm your SimConnect code works as expected with conventional VORs?

Re: Issue Reading TACAN Parameters via Sim Connect

True TACAN functionality was new to Prepar3D in v3. Prior to that aircraft would tend to use co-located VOR/TACAN to create the perception of using TACAN. The properties you are querying are set up specifically for actual TACANs. Try the VOR simulation variables instead. At this time we do not yet h...

Re: Limit Rudder Input

When the flag is set, there will be no effect on the nose wheel steering when providing input to the rudder. Previously, input to the rudder always resulted in nose wheel steering.

Hope this helps,

Re: differential_braking_scale problem.

To be clear, this differential braking functionality is specific to the normal "both" braking input. For example, the period key ('.') is by default mapped to both brakes. Holding that key and deflecting the rudder will be affected by the differential scalar. However, this does not have any impact o...

Re: Exposed Fuelflow -> N1 controller table in .air file ?

Can you send me both the .asm source and the generated .air file so I can take a look?

Re: Exposed Fuelflow -> N1 controller table in .air file ?

One thing to note is that the SDK installs under Program Files by default. Without Admin privileges, asm2air will fail if it attempts to output within Program Files. If you run from a command line you would see "ASM2AIR: Error!". Make sure you are outputting to a location that does not require Admin...

Re: Exposed Fuelflow -> N1 controller table in .air file ?

There is no 545 and there is a 1532 - this is consistent with the previous version's sample file.

Re: Using PDK Sound Service

You may want to try providing the full path in your sound file name.

Re: Exposed Fuelflow -> N1 controller table in .air file ?

I have verified the new table does in fact compile into the .air file and loads properly.

Are you using the new asm2air.exe included in the v4.4 SDK?

I assume you are using some sort of binary editor or third party editor... I have no idea why you are seeing those changes.

Re: Using PDK Sound Service

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something, but wasn't the crash with the query_pdk call? The suggestion I gave you was for the subsequent call for the sound service, which would not be possible without successfully calling query_pdk, right? Is that working for you?

Re: Exposed Fuelflow -> N1 controller table in .air file ?

When you say you couldn't find the new table in the .air file, how exactly are you trying to "find" it?

Re: Using PDK Sound Service

What does query_pdk return? I assume this is from the gauges.h and you've verified that other gauge api functions are working properly? As for the pIPdk->QueryService(P3D::SID_SoundService, P3D::IID_ISoundInstanceV440, (void**)&pPdkSoundService); this should be pIPdk->QueryService(P3D::SID_SoundServ...

Re: Exposed Fuelflow -> N1 controller table in .air file ?

Look for AIR_P3DV440_CORRECTED_N1_FROM_FF in the TurboPropSample.asm example.
