Very cool! I can't imagine how many hours you've put into creating this.

Re: changing motherboard

You can use sysprep to modify your build and put into a state as if it was a new PC. You then, install the MB and start it up and your build will be re-instated. In general everything will be as it was before the change. Google sysprep for exact instructions. It worked for me but your mileage may va...

Re: Is IT Possible To Increase Prepar3d Efficiency By Changing Cpu Priority?

I'm currently running at high priority. I haven't seen any noticeable improvements. However, it hasn't hurt either. Like downscc said, give it a try.

Re: 3 Monitors in View groups - 1 Monitor as panel

I don't think there's a way to do this with ViewGroups. At least I could not see a way within the viewgroup management function. I also took a look at the xml file and there was nothing obvious that could be set in there either. So unless there's a hidden function, who knows maybe there is one, it d...

Re: Help with View Groups

Mark, I can't offer much insight into this. However, I thought I would experiment with using 'flat' on my view group. I can confirm that you can't zoom out any further than, for me anyway, 1.21 but you can zoom in. Not sure why you would want to zoom in as everything is way too big/zoomed. I also ex...

Re: Simconnect menu - undocking and moving to other screen

To add to this idea, if we could move the entire menu to another screen and adjust font sizes as well would be very helpfull for immersion and old eyes.

Re: Changing the position of the dashboard view

As far as I know you are correct that you can’t change the pitch, bank, or heading of the initial aircraft view using the aircraft.cfg. You could change it by changing the default VC view but that changes it for all aircraft. You may be able to create a global camera using the VC definition as a sta...

Re: V4.4 - ViewGroup and Instrument Monitor Now in Lockstep

The only thing I noticed in your xml file was that the left monitor, in both groups, doesn’t have a display ID. not sure what the sim does with that but its probably worth a shot to get it in there.

Re: Changing the position of the dashboard view

There are keyboard commands that allow you to move your eyepoint. Search for them in the controls section. That wil work for the current flight. To make it stick between flights and scenarios requires modifying the aircraft config file. The section in the aircraft config is [ views]. Here's an examp...

Re: V4.4 - ViewGroup and Instrument Monitor Now in Lockstep

Can you post your view group config? I have almost the exact same setup and it works for me. I would like to compare them to see if there are any differences.

Re: V4.4 - ViewGroup and Instrument Monitor Now in Lockstep

Is the monitor for your instruments a part of the view group definition. If it is, try to remove it from the group and setup a separate camera for that view. Also, sometimes the monitor numbers get changed within the sim. I'm not sure why that is. However, check that out as well.

Re: Best configuration for 5 monitor

Hi, i have a little question for this configuration: Processor: I7-7700K Memory; 32 Gb DDR4 Vga: Nvidia GTX 1080 - 8GB Monitor: 5 Dell UltraSharp FHD ( 1920x1200 ) With the 3 central monitors all right, the resolution is 5760x1200, I have about 30/35 fps. Re: Multimonitor alignment problems

Not sure why this occurs and I see it as well. I keep view group enabled in spot view and need to play with the zoom to get it to look correct.

Re: Multimonitor alignment problems

You should try setting up a view group. Viewgroups work well for me. Here's 2 links to topics elsewhere on these forums that explain how to set it up. I'm interested in knowing how it works for you. https://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6306&t=129111 https://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic...
