Re: Beach wave effect in 4.5

"Some seconds" are not "some minutes" ;o) The shore waves ARE added as the last thing to a scenery. What, if you reduce your autogen density - or set it to 0? Then the waves should come quicklier. I also sometimes thought that I had 'lost' the shore waves, until I noticed that I have to cruise in ci...

Re: The outside or somehting is like "shaking"... idk?! help

Can be that this shaking resembles the vibrations of the plane with running engines?
...just an idea

Re: Too lightgreen Trees since 4.5 Update ( no Speedtrees )

Hi Michael, Could it be that you have marked the option "use system date and time for startup scenario"? Then your P3D now starts up in Salzburg using SPRINGTIME colouring (and if you look out in nature, now, in spring, the deciduous trees are indeed light-green). What if you change your flight date...

Re: SLI Configuration and Settings

Having 2 GTX1080 in SLI mode I just HAVE to join this thread: I am still having troubles with FPS in the 10s to low 20s without ORBX True Earth sceneries and immense blurring and FPS in the low 10s with True Earth Something (still) cannot be right... @ Dan: do you use the setting of MaintainSystemCo...

Re: Moved monitors and now all views jacked up

Most probably it's a problem with the NVidia settings.
I'd try to re-arrange the monitors there, then also P3D should offer correct views again.

Re: Nazca lines in Peru

They are not part of the defatul P3D scenery (alas).
But have you tried the openLC South America scenery from OrbX? Maybe the lines are included there.

Re: Unable to uninstall Prepar 3D v4 Content

Have you looked into the sound settings options?
I think, by default, P3D brings the ATC into a (maybe inexistent) headset output.
Choose your audio default output there and ATC sohuld be hearable via loudspeaker again.

Re: v4.3 refuses to start up in full screen mode

Alas, this is/was not the solution. Though I start P3D via batchfile: @Echo OFF REM Start P3D and then wait (!) until P3D is finished... start /WAIT "Prepar3D" "D:\Prepar3D v4\Prepar3D.exe" REM ...before executing the further lines, quitting all addons started in dll.xml and exe.xml taskkill /F /IM ...

v4.3 refuses to start up in full screen mode

Despite my 5760x1080 nVidia Surround setup, P3D 'prefers' to start in 1080x786 - mode (see screenshot) https://i.imgur.com/lMkz11Y.jpg Every time I have to pull out the borders to maximize the view, every time I save a startup scenario with the large view, but next time I'm again finding myself in t...

In nature, it's a 'common thing', but I didn't even notice yet that moonshine does cast shadows in the sim.

Could a head-motion tracker like trackIR solve your problem?

Re: P3Dv4 Loading Times

I have already compared the loading times of the Bruce Artwick Flight Simulator from 1982 running on Commodore C64 and P3Dv4 from 2018 on an I7 or i8 CPU. Though the CPU frequency has multiplied by 4-5000 since the old times, the loading times of the sims remained nearly the same (2:12 vs. 2-3 minut...

Re: P3Dv3.4.22 Error creating child window

Everything ok now,
both reported problems were obviously caused by a Win10 OS, which had not yet finished all its updates.
Everything's fine now.
