Re: Alt-Enter Bug

Bug not traced yet, but... I think I am on a track to locate the events that lead to the bug. Further tests are needed. Explanation: a. It is related to the main P3D window bar shown when not in "Full Screen" b. When the window bar is shown and you "Alt-enter", move/resize it open another window "FS...

Re: Alt-Enter Bug

About the minimize function not being available.

This is linked to the Alt-Enter bug and the black screen.
When P3DV5 behaves normally, it can be minimized.

Alt-Enter Bug

Under some circumstances, after entering AltEnter you get a black screen. P3DV5 HF1 is still running, if you hit @ESC@ you return to P3D normal screen and also tied to that problem if you try to view the menu options you will get the black screen back. Here it is interesting to note that while the S...

P3DV5. Jagged lines on Raster

When you change views or pan, you will notice jagged lines on the sides of the raster: on top and also on the sides. It is not persistent, but it will come back as you pan or change views. My config: I7 9700k 5.0ghz, ram 32gb, gtx2080ti Windows 10 1909 Video driver 442.59 Monitor 4k kept at 30hz for...

P3DV5 ATC window

As you open the ATC window and move it to a second monitor, the window flashes as you move it on the 2nd monitor. And also, the FPS in the main window flashes and the FPS goes down : actually 1/2 of the 30hz synced monitor. Does it everytime. Close the ATC window, the FPS comes back to normal. (edit...

Re: V5 hangs when changing settings or time

Same here:

Custom AI a/c and ships and trying to apply a time offset P3d freezes at the /loading aircraft, sea xxx traffic/
Setting all tfc to 0 except airport at low will freeze the sim.

Re: ATC Window undock

P3D allows this as long as you save a flight with the ATC window undocked.
When you load that flight, it will show the ATC window undocked on the monitor that you save it to.
You can make it the default

Re: ATC Window undock

Easy to resolve: Go to your P3D folder, open the Gauges folder and open missionpanels.cfg with Notepad. Search for [Window11] which is the ATC window. Edit the window_size entry or: the numbers are percentages of the screen, so 0.2, 0.53 means the width is a 5th (20%) of your screen and the height i...

Re: I7-9700K with P3D

Using the 9700K here at 5.0ghz with water cooling and the CPU temp is steady below 70F in heavy P3D scenarios.
