@Rob this can be replicated with default out of the box setting, along with a single library object based scenery loaded externally (similar to Night Environment), once the slider is moved one click this loop will accrue, note that this slide doesn't actually effect any data related to library objec...

those having loading time issues try setting “Autogen and scenery draw distance” slider to medium (avoid exceeding Medium) this should significantly change loading times,

Hi Matthew :) look at the brights side of things... first Astronomers wont have to kill now with Stargazer ;) instead they can go for a flight in P3D and enjoy a magnificent sky full of stars, since they are Astronomers they would love to try out the different levels we over in combination with diff...

if none if the controls provided in P3D interface effecting your visual enough...
try to first balance your actual monitor profile; that is done with the actual monitor external controls!
try balancing your visual setting first there then move to balancing internally in P3D,

thats exactly what the settings from FSX you asked about do! these are relational to each other, just because you change the night threshold element; don't assume you are only effecting night, you're effecting the relation between night and day still! from MS FSX SDK http://s33.postimg.org/odhbt43v3...

i don't think this was made an official bug,
i couldn't reproduce this again in 3.2 beat testing, nor anyone else made a new reporting about this,
see if there is a pattern you can maybe sport for the team to possibly replicate,
