Re: P3D closes without any Error Message when change the Views

Hello WinstonWolf, Were you cycling through the cameras, or did you select the outside camera directly? If you were cycling and you haven't deleted the cameras.cfg file from your previous version of Prepar3D, the old VR camera can break the simulation. All you need to do is delete %APPDATA%/Lockheed...

Re: P3.4 default VC eyepoint error

Hello eke2000,

The only thing that I can come up with over here is that you need to make sure you have Service Pack 1 installed for Windows 7. What you are describing is not something we are able to replicate currently. We will note the issue, and let us know if this works for you.

Re: VAS always above 3000mb

Hey all,

This may sound silly, but delete your camera.cfg file and see if that helps. There have been some issues on other threads with memory that are getting resolved this way. It seems to have to do with the new VR system, but we are investigating.

Re: P3D 3.4: Improved anti-aliasing?

Hello DukeSan27,

We haven't adjusted the AA for this release, must be something with the drivers or your PC.

Glad you like it though!

Re: Undocked View Cycling Issue in V3.4 -Please Help

Hello jshanks,

About the camera cycling issue: If you are upgrading from Prepar3D v3.3 to Prepar3D v3.4, then please delete

%APPDATA%/Roaming/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3D v3/cameras.cfg

Prepar3D will rebuild it with the proper camera definitions.

Re: No sound in oculus rift

Hello ulij, I have not experienced that problem here. Make sure that you are not in "SLEW" mode. You can look in the bottom right corner, and if you see "SLEW" in a red box, press Y to get out of that mode. If that doesn't work, press 'Q'. This is our mute button. If that does no...

Re: Crash when cycling through views....

No worries. Anytime we make changes to a cfg file, users should delete the associated file so Prepar3D can rebuild it. I would recommend that on future updates if you don't have a bunch of custom configurations.

Hello b737_800,

Yes, these can be mapped. If you type HMD in the control's search function, you will find what you are looking for.

Hello uncle_adolph,

Yes, you need to delete your cameras.cfg file and let Prepar3D rebuild it so this issue is resolved.

Re: HDR support in VR

Hello b737_800, HDR does not work in the Oculus Rift because it creates a render target with a format that cannot be converted to from our HDR format. When we allowed HDR to be on during development, the Oculus Rift would not display anything. We now turn HDR off for any VR mode. It is feasible that...

Hello thilonoack76,

You just need to delete your camera.cfg file in your %APPDATA%/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3D v3/ folder.
