Post Shared Cockpit - "PACK THE COCKPIT EVENT"
on: April 12, 2012, 16:04

"How many P3D Pilots does it take to fly a Beech Baron ?"

Well, in P3D, it would seem, "As many as you can pack into the Virtual Cockpit", which, is reported to be "UNLIMITED" in P3D, unlike the limitation of TWO in FSX.

I am wondeing how many have been able to explore this feature, especially with the limitations of 2 installaion per Developer's License, and the lack of any Social Metting environment, for P2D Pilots to get together, and spontaneously try such a shared Cockpit features.

So - lets try it !!!

I am planning to HOST a "PACK THE COCKPIT" event this coming Saturday ( April 14th).
Lets see how many pilots we can get into the same BEECH BARON, on a flight from Norfolk to Kenedy, New York.

EVENT Details:

P3D : Version 1.3 (lastest version PLEASE !!)
Date: Saturday April 14th 2014 (USA evening)
Time: 10pm Eastern USA Time, ( 7 PM Western USA Time)
Departure Airport: NORFOLK
Arrival Airport: Kenedy, New York (KJFK)
Aircraft: BEECH BARON (P3D stock - NON-Glass)

HOSTING: FSMP P3D Multgiplayer Server: IP 68.49.210.150
Shared Aircraft Name (to Join) = PACK_EVENT_1

Please use your FORUM name, as your Pilots Name ( Lan Name)
Flight time will be about 2.5 hours ( 250 nm) -- You can join or leave at ANY time during the flight.
Communication will be over the plane's Intercom ( and maybe on a designated Teampspeak 3 server if it gets to conjested in P3D)

If you are interested, and intend to try to join this Event, please indicate in this thread.(It would be nice to know how many are interested in attending --
Flight will take place irrespective of numbers showing interest by replying - so you can just TURN UP, if able)

If you are thinking of taking part, you might want to make sure you can connect to the server, before the Event.
Server should be up 24/7

Thanks to all those who turned up on Saturday evening. Despite a few problems, it went quite well and showed up quite a few issues that need to be addressed. I will complete the list and post it on the Feature Suggestion area. Hopefully, they can be addressed before the next update.
