I'm not sure if this is a known issue but I note that no GA AI traffic is showing, even with the slider set to 100%. It's probably hidden by the fact that all Airline traffic (flights marked as ILS in the traffic file) is working fine. Quite a lot of GA aircraft have been marked as an ILS flight and those ones are being seen ok which is why there are plenty of small Beeches and Pipers etc. active. It is just those flightplans marked as VFR flights are not appearing.

Any progress on this issue?

We are not able to ship with all the aircraft that shipped with FSX/ESP because of licensing issues. We have added some new aircraft through, and continue to work on adding to the list. Some aircraft were given more general names and appearances and shipped, but not in a user-flyable state. They should still be enabled for traffic.

There is currently (1.3) no way to get GA traffic running (ORBX GA-Traffic)?

This one has been resolved already. Traffic in Prepar3D is fine, but as outlined before, we do not ship all the aircraft that came with previous titles, so it shows less. If you have a 3rd party traffic addon that you like, they will work beautifully with Prepar3D and give you more diverse traffic.

I'm sorry to report that this does not seem to be fixed. I'm still not seeing any AI aircraft with a VFR flight plan.

My test process was to establish a traffic file with all aircraft given a VFR flight plan. None of the aircraft appear in the sim. Adjust the traffic file so the only change is IFR instead of VFR and all then appear as they should. I then changed the IFR back to VFR and the same aircraft fail to load again.

It is hard to imagine any other cause for this problem when the only difference between aircraft appearing and not appearing is the IFR or VFR designation in the compiled traffic file.

I can confirm there is something wrong. Even using the trafficdatabasebuilder form the P3D 1.3 SDK, when I compile the GA plans from MyTraffic as they are, with about 1/3 IFR and 2/3 VFR, in Egelsbach I see 30 aircraft in the reality box (entries in the traffic explorers), all marked IFR. Changing all VFR to IFR traffic went up to 74, with more aircraft visible on the airport itself, so this really is an issue even with P3D Trafficdatabasebuilder.

Edit: The crosstest with all flights compiled as VFR yields no AI aircraft visible or in the explorer.
