Post Problems with extracting
on: September 29, 2012, 01:10

I've just bought Prepar3d a few hours ago and tried to install it using the instructions in the PDF. But everytime I would extract it in that "Prepar3d" folder on the desktop it would not fully extract. I get an error from winRAR, so I tried to uninstall winRAR and just use the windows 7 program still no luck :( . Please help I've downloaded and tried to extract on two different computers.

Thanks,

Austin

Thank you Jan, but it what I forget to state above is every time I would try to extract each of the "zips" it would just say "The File is Corrupt". It's just the DATA.cab rar's or zips. This is also the first time I've bought Prepar3d so no other installs remain on my computer. This problem also occurs from each zip I've tried.

Unzip the saved downloads in the default download directory eg. C:\Users\yourname\Downloads
Don't move the zip files!

What browser did you download the files with?
I used google chrome with no issues.
try a different browser, and/or use a download manager.
The error you are getting is probably stating the obvious.

I have the same problem. I used Chrome to download, and I tried first to extract to a folder on the desktop, then to the download directory which the files were downloaded. Both times the same error, data1.cab corrupt.
