The recommendation to delete the old \Prepar3D main folder it's sheer lunacy!!! Tons of installed add ons would be lost (in my case 100 GB). A complete new installation of all add ons (spending weeks) would be necessary.
It should be mandatory that Lockheed provide an own installation routine for upgrades!
