You could reproduce the F35s Helmet-mounted display system

Hi Dale, flight simulation is not a game; and whenever there should be any support, it should come from the manufacturer...and that's not LM

to back up what Jan has said, LM has provided the tools for developers so its up to them to use it. On a side note I hope the dev adds support :)

That looks even more ridiculous than TrackIR.

As the Oculus team say "But we want to make the Rift available to all game developers, today, so they can be part of the development process"

I wasn't suggesting that flight simulation be treated as a game. I am interested as to it's use as a training tool to make the whole process of "flying" a desktop more realistic and immersive. What is wrong with that?

We'll look into it to see if it can provide training value to our customers.

I'm also moving this thread over to the feature requests forum.

thanks for the note and for your support of Prepar3D!

The Rift should be compatible soon via Nthusim HMD in December. Immersaview's Warp, Nthusim Plus and Nthusim Standard pre-warp utilities for projectors already cater to Prepar3d/FSX/FS9 simpit builders. Expect more information once Immersaview gets their hands on their Rift dev kits. I know they'll have at least 2 dev kits available for testing.

Yes a simulation and this gadged simulates a simulation of being there in real life, so this could well be a simulation upgrade.
