Compared to fsx the sounds are to low, special on the engines. I have adjusted yhe engine sound to max in the settings menu, but no help. Is there any cfg file or other place to crank up the volume?

you can adjust sounds in the sound.cfg for any aircraft but there is a limit to how high they can go, you would have to do this for each aircraft you have.

After you have made changes to the sounds, sometimes it is required to restart the Sim. I have had this happen to me before, and the restart resolved it. Just thought I'd offer the tip. Also, you can make changes to your computers sound configuration and this will help with volume sometimes too. For example, change your sound from "studio quality 44Khz" to CD quality" which will have a lower Khz range. This too helps with sound issues in the Sim.
