Post Maddog 2010

Hi everyone, i'm new on prepar3d and just installed the 1.4version. I'm installing all of my FSX payware addons to p3d. I'm using the FSX to Prepar3d utility and I had no problems until trying to install the Maddog 2010. It installs and registers correctly but when I select the aircraft in-game, p3d crashes to desktop. Any ideas are welcome!

Hi, and welcome to the Prepar3D forums!

From what I have seen in other forums it has been done successfully. This forum is not usually used to enquire how to get "X" aircraft into Prepar3D, but rather for issues directly related to the Prepar3D application its self, so you likely won't get much assistance as has been the case in the past. If you inquire or search the AVSIM Prepar3D sub forum or other new Prepar3D forums, you will likely get much information or assistance from users who have ported the aircraft over. :D

Cheers,
Thad

I think in all cases of third party software you should ask on the specific support channels of the developpers. Some work as it comes, some work with a little trick they can tell you, and some need a rewrite of parts and then may not be for free. I would never try to install an addon that has not been verified and offered for P3D by the producer.

Hello Fernando, check in your existing FSX installation what is installed where. Check exe.xml and dll.xml and see if there is some content written.
