I remember reading somewhere (on this forum) that Prepar3d v2.0 will support DX11, and your main focus is on performance.

But will DX11 bring a better lighting engine ?... because the one from FSX can be quite disturbing at times ! :(

v2 is supposed to address dozens of issues with the legacy ESP code. It is supposed to cover, lighting, terrain, autogen, clouds and the engine itself.
