Hi all,
I'm experiencing an issue with sounds. I have a continous noise which seems impossible to turn off.
It is similar to a propeller's engine noise, or even to a jackhammer out of the window...
I'll try to be more precise:
- I start P3D with its default flight
- I shut down the plane, and there are no sounds at all (that's ok!)
- I move the plane to another airport, and when it finishes to load the new flight, the noise starts, even if the plane is still in a cold and dark state
- Sometimes you hear it in both internal and external views, some other only in external
- I tried to move the plane in slew mode, but when I press Y to exit slew mode, the noise starts again...
- the only way to avoid it, is to fly from the default rwy 10
- I also tried with a pay add-on (PMDG 737NGX), but it is the same

I've installed P3D just 3 days ago, on a brand new PC running Win 7.
P3D on a dedicated SSD.
Add-on: FSUIPC (registered version) and PMDG 737NGX
No sceneries at all

Yes, I did. Everything off.
I've also noticed that changing some settings in OPTION->SOUND seems to have no effects at all ...

No, it is not a plopping sound. It is a continous noise, maybe reproducing the ambiental noises of an airport, but it is VERY high.
I tried to disable the "Environment" volume in "Setting sound" tab, but didn't work.

I guess I should reformat the PC and try a new installation....

I confirm. After re-formatting the pc everythings seems to work well.
Btw, thanks to p3d guys for re-activating my license so quicky. In less than 3 hours I was able to go!
