Post Default flight
on: August 3, 2012, 18:46

Hey all,
It seems no matter what flight setup I save as 'default', upon start I always get the default startup in Norfolk, in the Fall with the N1000B. I have renamed the Prepar3d.cfg file to force a new one to no avail.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Michael

Did you find the little check box at the bottom?. You need to check that before saving as HOME or whatever.

Hello Michael, what is your file location of the flights? Should be: C:\Users\***your_name***\Documents\Prepar3D Files
Go to load Flight, take any flight, check box Set Default flight, Accept. Close the sim and reopen it. Check the statement in prepar3d.cfg
SITUATION=C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Prepar3D Files\the-name-of-your-flight.FLT

OK, thanks Janvaane, that led me to the problem which actually was Xtreme3DBooster was changing my .cfg file each time which did not include the Situation Line......I loaded a proper file into Xtreme3DBooster and all works well now.

Hurray! But to prevent any other malicious situations: remove Xtreme3DBooster out of your P3D config ; it's for gaming...not for FS.
