Post P3D Crash.
on: July 5, 2012, 05:25

Hi All,

I have re-installed P3d onto our system due to some issues I had with files missing etc.

P3D is installed and working fine in fact much better than before with the standard aircafts, however after installing the B787 I select it from the Change Aircraft menu and it causes P3D to crash.

The Aircraft add-on was installed as before and I know it works as it did once before but now I can't get it working.

Any ideas please, the error box is a Windows message box saying the P3D has encountered a problems and needs to close.

Thanks

Cliff.

How did you install the B787 and in which path?

I did the same as when it worked before, I installed to the C:\ then copied the files into the correct folders in P3D all as per the instructions on the FAQ section of this site.

It did work fine until I had to reload everything now I can't get it working, I have also tried installing it with the TweakFSX thing mentioned in the FAQ section as well and doing a direct install but same fault.

Thanks

Cliff.

How can you install in the root of the C:\ drive and then move the files to ...\airplanes when you have an installer package?
