First question before I start - will Lockhead release a version of the Learning Center as a Standalone? Would be handy as I am not always on the Flight Simulator PCs when I want to investigate issues.

Anyway, main question. Need a configuration for the following setup of screens.

Master
Image

Slave will be the visuals looking forward and only forward on a single projector at present.

The Master has the screens setup in Windows 7 the same as what is depicted in the image above.

The two middle screens have the dimensions of 1920x1080 (Front Panels)

The top screen has a screen size of 416x693 (Overhead)

The bottom screen is 600x600 (Centre Pedestal)

Top and bottom screens are touch screens which show the overhead and centre pedestal avionics. The Aircraft is a Bell 412 EP.

The Panels are cut outs with a custom panel config so that the screen sits behind them showing the gauges. Works very nicely.

Slave:

This is a projector (haven't got what its resolution was however it is only one single screen. We are not creating a dome or concave screen as yet. We may in the future.

So, we need to setup the multi-channel with these many screens on the master unit and a single on the slave.

Anyone already have a configuration for something similar to this?

Many thanks.

Just copy the P3DWeb folder to a USB Memory stick and then you can view it anywhere you have access to a PC.

As I understand is that -what you called Slave- is showing a New View-Cockpit-Virtual Cocpit view
Connect the third monitor (your projector) to the video card where the 2x 1920 is connect; you should have 3 connections there.
Undock the View; remind that the frame rate drops 50% with single screens
OR
Make an Eyefinity group of 3 and resize the new view within the limitations of what you get then (1920+1920+??projector))

As Jan has alluded to, if you use an nVidia GTX590 as one of your 2 video cards (these usually have 3xDVI-D outputs) you may be able to get all 5 screens to work adequately off of the same PC and then have no need for a Slave. Not sure the Eyfinity solution would be right for your configuration as I think this is best used for creating a single graphics space, and by your description above you need 5 distinct views.

.

At present I am set up with a Master with single Instrument screen and several Slaves each driving a different number of outside views. I have experimented with multiple monitors on the Master. If I get time I'll re-configure my 4xMonitor Slave as a Master and report back - probably after the weekend!

We have a problem running Prepar3D with a triple front display and one cockpit display. The PC is set up correctly both in windows ans AMD Catalyst(6950 card). The triple screen and cockpit run fine in FS X.
In Prepar3D it:
1. Will not open the Instrument Panel display for the lower screen and it does not appear in the new view options. Only the GPS, Radios ect are there.
2. When set up for the triple from display when i hit the "Full Screen" the display reverts back to duplicate screens rather than extended display.

We want to have a triple front display and the cockpit display needs the instrument panel, GPS and Radios.
We have removed Prepar3D and are reloading it to the PC today.

Just loaded up a Multi-Monitor configuration that had instruments spread across 4 monitors which worked on V1.2. This is the first time I've tried it with V1.3 and I can only get instruments visible on my Primary Monitor. Just read a post about putting in a Panel Only Camera view but I can't get that to work either. Has Multi-Instrument/Multi-Monitor support been removed in V1.3??

It hasn't been removed, there have been some threads on this one with a workaround, we are looking into it. Jim, if you have any more feedback, especially on the transparent additional panel workaround that was posted please let us know.
