Post Attaching droppable objects in multiplayer missions
on: May 1, 2012, 15:01

Hi,

I would like to be able to attach droppable objects to players in multiplayer missions. However, every piece of information I've found re: this topic for FSX would seem to indicate that this isn't possible. My own attempts at this have shown me that the only object that droppable objects ever attach to is the "The_Player" object (as opposed to any player container objects used in MP). In multiplayer, if droppable objects are assigned to "The_Player" then they will be attached to the host, but not to any other player.

Is there something I am missing here, or is this a feature that is simply broken in the translation from singleplayer missions to multiplayer missions? Any thoughts would be appreciated - thanks!

I think it is a feature that has NEVER worked in Multiplayer Missions -- Multiplayer missions, (apart from "air race" type missions, are mostly disfunctional )

That was my thought, too, but I wanted to confirm that no changes had been made under-the-hood that would have enabled a fix to this feature.
