My P3D has been crashing with this message. I am sorry that the GUI does not appear to be expandable so these two photos I hope adequately cover the main content of the message. Please let me know if there is more information that you need.

In order to help, WAY more information is needed.

A complete list of all addons. Does the error still occur with all addons disabled? From what I read there is a simconnect connection involved in the crash, so are you running any simconnect client? When did it happen? What was your last action?
The error message does not come from FSX or Windows or Direct X, but from Microsoft.Net. This again points into the direction of client software.

Burkhardt: thank you, I did put it down to a misbehaving add-on, but by elimination I could not find the source.
So I reinstalled a saved earlier version of my P3D setup and all is running well again.

Glad you're back up and running. Saw from your stack you had at least REX up and running. There's a good thread started by John Nicol on how to report bugs to us, we need a good bit of data to accurately reproduce crashes so we can fix them if there is an issue in the core platform.

I replaced REX with a copy I had of Active Sky 2012. I installed it directly (I hope without getting another EULA smack over the knuckles) and it works without problem and with little or no measurable impact on performance. I will try X-Graphics soon to see if they work also.

For me I find that Accu-Feel works well, but GSX for some reason on my system is a cause of CTDs. Plan G and FSWidgets add-ons are fine in P3D. The iFly 737 works well but really cuts frames, but the PMDG version causes less pressure. The HUD dll instruction has to be manually put into the relevant xml file. Carenado aircraft install and work perfectly.

PS as soon as REX releases Essentials for P3D I will make that my weather engine.
